I didn't get to the burnout pad to witness the World Record simultaneous burnout, but i certainly HEARD it and it was EPIC. The coloured smoke is not an optical illusion, tyre manufacturers have designed tyres specifically for burnouts, that when used in a burnout will produce coloured smoke. An ordinary tyre will produce white smoke in a burnout.
